ABOUT US:
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) that has become an international Church was founded in 1952. RCCG parishes are found in well over 130 countries across all the continents of the world.
RCCG Jesus Sanctuary, Northampton is one of the many RCCG churches globally. Jesus Sancytuary, Northampton was founded in May 2011 out of a desire to bring many to the knowldege of the saving grace of God. Our mandate is to teach, lead, inspire and mentor many on how to live a victorious and abundant life on earth and eternal life in heaven. We believe that it is possible to live an abundant life on earth in addition to the promised eternal life in heaven in this present age.
Our goal is to meet the spiritual and physical needs, as well as positively impact lifes in Northampton and its environs
We are a family and friendly bible-based church where the spiritual and physical needs of members is a priority.
Our goal is to make heaven and bring as many as possible with us. We invite you to join us as we look forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb, while living a victorious and abundant life here on earth.
RCCG FUNDAMENTAL BELIEF
1. We believe that the entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit - II Tim. 3:16-17. All the Christian teachings and the Christian attitude of the Children of God are such as are established in the Holy Bible - II Tim. 3:10-15; II Peter 1:21; John 17:17; Ps. 119:105.
2. As revealed unto us by the Bible, we believe that there is only one God, Who is the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures -Gen. 1:1; Ps. 86:9-10; Is. 43:10-11; John 1:1-3. Only God will be in existence forever. Ez. 3:14; in God every creature receives life -John 5:26.
3. We believe that He is the Son of God; Who took away our sins, and the Savior of the world. We also believe that Jesus is God and was born by Mary the Virgin. He is God revealed in the flesh. Through Him all things were created. John 1:1-14; John 14:9; Matt. 1:18-25, Is 9:6; Is 53:5-6. We believe in His death on the Cross, and resurrection, by which He brought redemption - Is. 53:4-10; I Pet. 2:24; John 10:11; Gal. 3:13, Matt. 20:28; I Cor. 15:3; Rom. 4:25; II Cor. 5:14; Heb 2:9; Heb 9:26.
4. The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the TRINITY. He has the same power, the same glory with God the Father and God the Son - John 14:16-17; John 15:26; Matt. 3:16; Acts 13:24. He is one with Father and the Son who is to be worshiped and served. Three Persons that become one are the source of blessings to all the living creatures in Heaven and on earth - Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14; I John 1:5-7.
5. We believe in baptism by the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost - Matt. 28:19
6. All born-again souls should ask for the Holy Spirit from above, as the Apostles were ordered to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled from above. It is the promise of the Father. It is God's gift which He gives to those who obey Him - Luke 24:49; John 4:14-26; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 5:32; Acts 8:14-17.
RCCG VISION/MISSION STATEMENT
1.] To make heaven.
2.] To take as many people as possible with us.
3.]To have members of the church in every family of all nations.
4.]To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyles.
5.]To accomplish No. 2 & 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
6.]We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the World is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord.
